Stacey Breon, RN recognized for extraordinary compassion and patient-centered care
Premier Surgery Center is proud to announce the recipient of its first-ever DAISY Award, recognizing a nurse whose calm and compassionate presence made a meaningful difference for a patient in her care.
The DAISY Award is an international recognition program that celebrates the clinical skill and compassion of nurses. Nominations are submitted by the patients and families who experience that care firsthand.
Stacey Breon, RN, Pre-Op/PACU nurse at Premier Surgery Center, is the recipient of the inaugural DAISY Award at the Brunswick facility. Stacey was recognized for the calm, professional, and compassionate presence she brought to a patient preparing for a procedure — exactly the kind of care the DAISY Award was created to honor. As her nominator shared, “Stacey was absolutely wonderful in answering all my questions as I was prepped for a cortisone shot. She was a calming influence. Stacey was professional, efficient, patient and sweet.”
Premier Surgery Center extends its congratulations to Stacey and looks forward to continuing to recognize the extraordinary nurses who make a difference for patients every day.
